We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Project Co-ordinator to lead our Norfolk Befriending Service, connecting carers with volunteer companions who provide vital support and friendship.

What’s the role about?
In this rewarding role, you’ll:
- Manage a team of volunteers supporting carers and their loved ones.
- Complete assessments and risk assessments to ensure high-quality, person-centred service delivery.
- Building and maintaining key professional relationships across all levels and with a diverse range of users and stakeholders.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork, including incident and safeguarding concerns.
- Provide data and accurate reports when required, using in house systems to contribute to contractual reporting requirements.
- Work flexibly across Norfolk, providing companionship and practical solutions.
- Signpost carers to additional services that enrich their lives.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in personal or social care and a proactive, people-focused approach.
- Previous experience of undertaking care plan assessments
- Good IT skills with previous experience of using rostering and reporting systems.
- Strong organisation, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to build and manage a volunteer team.
- Flexibility, resilience, and a passion for making a difference.
