Hours 37 hours per week per week (Monday-Friday)
Accountable to Head of Care
Responsible for  Volunteers supporting service
Based Hybrid, with travel required across Norfolk to meet the people we support and our wonderful team of dedicated volunteers

We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Project Co-ordinator to lead our Norfolk Befriending Service, connecting carers with volunteer companions who provide vital support and friendship.

What’s the role about?

In this rewarding role, you’ll:

  • Manage a team of volunteers supporting carers and their loved ones.
  • Complete assessments and risk assessments to ensure high-quality, person-centred service delivery.
  • Building and maintaining key professional relationships across all levels and with a diverse range of users and stakeholders.
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork, including incident and safeguarding concerns.
  • Provide data and accurate reports when required, using in house systems to contribute to contractual reporting requirements.
  • Work flexibly across Norfolk, providing companionship and practical solutions.
  • Signpost carers to additional services that enrich their lives.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in personal or social care and a proactive, people-focused approach.
  • Previous experience of undertaking care plan assessments
  • Good IT skills with previous experience of using rostering and reporting systems.
  • Strong organisation, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to build and manage a volunteer team.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a passion for making a difference.
