Are you a young person looking after a family member? Do you love drama and storytelling?
Norwich Theatre invites young carers living in and around Norwich to unleash their creativity at a taster playwriting workshop on at Norwich Theatre Stage Two on Thursday 11 August, 10.30am-12.30pm.
After the taster workshop, the full playwriting workshops will be led by drama, storytelling, character development, sharing and group activities so that you can truly be creative and free in your thinking, and hopefully have fun at the same time.
An expert playwright will be helping you to write the play as a group. The play will form part of ’37 plays’ – the theatre’s latest project in partnership with the Royal Shakespeare Company which hopes to seek the stories of our times: the comedies, the tragedies and the untold histories. 37 plays will be chosen by a national reading panel and subsequently performed script-in-hand across the UK and online in autumn 2023!
Norwich Theatre will also be providing snacks and soft drinks to keep you energised throughout the taster session.
