Upcoming activities for adult carers

At Caring Together we offer a range of activities for adult carers. As well as digital group meetings we are also now starting to have face-to-face meetings.

Tuesday 21 December  – 11.30am-1.30pm – **FULLY BOOKED** Girton and Shelford carers hub – Christmas get together 
Face-to-face get together for carers and the people they care for in the Cambridge area. There will be festive food and live music.

Monday 10 January  – 10am-11.30am – Parent carer hub
Are you caring for a teenager or young adult with complex needs? Come along to our parent carer hub to meet other families who are caring for a teenager or young adult with learning disabilities and/or health needs. The sessions are held at Arthur Rank Hospice, Cherry Hinton Road, Shelford Bottom, CB22 3FB. They include information and guidance on transition to adult services, and signposting to services and organisations which can support you and your family. Refreshments will be available. Tuesday 11 January  – 10am-12pm – Huntingdon carers hub – Happy new year, healthy new you carers event
Free activities, advice and information about how you can look after your own health and wellbeing.

Wednesday 12 January  – 10.30am-11am – Carers mixed hub – Zoom group – New years resolutions and goal setting

Thursday 13 January  – 10am-11am – Shelford carers hub (virtual)
All carers are welcome to attend the virtual carers hub where you can talk to other carers.

Tuesday 18 January  – 11.30am-1pm – Girton carers hub

Monday 27 January  – 10am-11am – Shelford carers hub (virtual)
All carers are welcome to attend the virtual carers hub where you can talk to other carers.

Thursday 3 February  – 10am-11.30pm – Online Parent Carer workshop 
Carers allowance overview and welfare benefits Q&A with Anjela Jones from Cambridgeshire County Council Welfare Benefits team.

Wednesday 8 February  – 10am-12pm – Huntingdon carers hub
