Are you a parent carer to a young person aged 11 -25 years old with additional needs?
You are invited to join us, Pinpoint Cambridgeshire and Voiceability for a Cambridgeshire County Council event ‘Preparing for Adulthood’ on Friday 24 March, 10.00am – 2.00pm at the Burgess Hall, St Ives, PE27 6WU.
The event will give you the opportunity to find out more about:
- Health: including health transitions and annual health checks for children and young people with learning disabilities
- Post-16 education, training and employment
- Community inclusion and friendships
- Independence pathways
There will be opportunities to hear general information from various stallholders and expert speakers, as well as to talk one to one with various professionals and organisations. You can choose which sessions you would like to attend and you won’t be expected to attend the whole day.
Refreshments will be available.
