This Christmas, we are delighted to have the support of Maxine Lester Lettings and Property Management.
The St Ives based company have chosen us their charity this Christmas and aim to raise £3,000 to support 25 family carers with emergency home support, when core support services are unavailable.
Maxine Lester, director of Maxine Lester and Property Management said, “We appreciate that times are tough for many people now, but it is particularly difficult for people looking after a family member or friend.
“For unpaid carers there are no days off and no sick leave. Many wash and dress their loved one, cook for them and feed them. It can be relentless.
“Therefore, we are delighted to be working with Caring Together to support carers again this Christmas.”
For every £2 donated to their ‘Helping carers this Christmas’ charity appeal, Maxine Lester Lettings and Property Management will donate a further £1, up to a total of £1,000.
Nicky Newton, Caring Together fundraising manager said, “We are delighted to have the support of Maxine Lester Lettings and Property Management once again, as we have seen before how they and their supporters have shown their generosity.
“I know carers will appreciate support during Christmas, which can be a challenging time for many.”
