March Golf Club donates £3,785 to Caring Together Charity

25th February 25

March Golf Club has made a generous donation of £3,785 to Caring Together Charity which will help fund vital services for unpaid carers of all ages.

The donation was raised through a series of fundraising efforts organised by Club Captain, Jeff Dunham, and Lady Captain, Michal Simpson, and generously supported by the golf club members. Jeff and Michal from March Golf Club recently presented the cheque to Zoe from Caring Together, Michal from March Golf Club shared her enthusiasm; “As soon as I heard about the services Caring Together offer, I knew that this was a charity I wanted to support, particularly as their services could benefit some of our members who are caring for ill or disabled husbands/wives and parents. I’m so appreciative of everyone who has supported Jeff and I in our fundraising efforts. We raised £3,785, which I know is going to make a difference to some lives.”

The funds will go towards providing essential support for carers who often face challenges such as isolation, financial strain, and mental health struggles. Caring Together offers a wide range of services, from practical advice and information to emotional support and respite care.

“We are incredibly grateful to the members of March Golf Club for their kind and generous donation,” said Zoe from Caring Together. “This amount will make a real difference in helping us continue our work with carers across the region. It’s heartwarming to see local communities coming together to support such an important cause.”
