Peterborough Regional College held a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on two days during Carers Week.
Penny Langley, Youth Worker, said “It was such a great two days event of Mad Hatters Tea Party, plus to be able to inform, students and staff to understand the role Young Carers on a daily basics. To have young carers help me on the days gave an insight of careering role of a love one, in my eyes they are super heroes.
From both of the event days we gain the knowledge of new carers and members of staff who had a family member, who need help and support from the young carers trust. It just educating the public about these young people and what a fabulous unpaid job they done.”
