Kerry Giles-Brown worked for Caring Together Charity as a Care Professional for over 30 years and raised thousands of pounds to support unpaid carers locally. In summer 2024 she raised over £5,000 from having her head shaved before starting chemotherapy. Sadly, Kerry passed away from cancer in September 2024 but before she died she was planning a fundraising disco with her friends and family. Although Kerry wasn’t to see her plans realised, her friends and family are making this very special event happen – now in memory of Kerry, and in celebration of her life.
The disco is open to all and will feature 70s, 80s and 90s music. It will be held on Saturday 1 February 2025 (7.30pm-11.30pm) at Littleport Ex-Serviceman’s Club, Pont’s Hill, CB6 1PZ.
Tickets are £10 per person and all donations will go to Caring Together Charity. Plus be in with the chance of winning some fantastic prizes during the raffle!
