For carers who are allowed to stay with patients in hospital, the wards at Peterborough City Hospital are giving out green wristbands which are recognised by the hospital’s restaurants so that carers can purchase food and drinks. 
The restaurants are currently open for staff at present, however this arrangement allows carers with green bands to be served food and drinks on a take away service.
