Matthew Lester, Director of award winning Maxine Lester Lettings and Property Management, took part in the Agents Giving Strictly Come Dancing Ball and raised £5,720 for Young Carers in Huntingdonshire.
Matthew was one of 10 competitors strutting their stuff at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London in front of three judges and a packed audience. With two dancers to go, Matthew was at the top of the leader board. Jane Gardner, of marketing company JP Gardner Associates, pipped him to the post and deservedly won the glitter ball, with a brilliant performance, leaving Matthew a very respectable second.
Matthew said, “I am delighted to say we managed to hit the £7,000 target. Thank you to everyone who supported me in whatever way including the whole team at Maxine Lester Lettings, who have covered for me when I have been training, and humoured me whilst have been grumpy and intolerant over the last couple of weeks as the nerves kicked in.”

The money raised from his colleagues, customers, friends and family will allow ten Young Carers to have a much-deserved holiday. Thank you to all that helped him raise such a fantastic amount”.
Matthew also raised £1,500 for Agents Giving.
