You are invited to the Healthwatch in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough’s health and care summit event this summer.
The free event is on Thursday 7 July, 10.00am to 3.00pm at the KingsGate Centre, 2 Staplee Way, Parnwell, Peterborough, PE1 4YT
This year the spotlight is on equal access to health and care services and on the big changes to how services are working.
Health and care services are under huge pressure and are working hard to meet the needs of local people. But many people still find it hard to get the care they need, such as older and disabled people. And people from poorer communities are dying ten years earlier than their richer neighbours.
The timing for the Healthwatch in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough’s event is perfect as this July, local health and care services are coming together as the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care System. This is a new way of planning health and care in a more joined up way to help keep people healthy and independent in their own homes for as long as possible.
There will be guest speakers, workshops, a free lunch and local health and care decision makers will be there to hear your feedback and share their future plans.
