Kids eat free summer holidays 2022
Some supermarket cafes and restaurants are now offering discount deals that allow kids to eat out for free or for as little as £1. Money Saving Central has a list of the supermarket cafes and restaurants that are offering the deals.
Cambourne Town FC Inclusive Football Festival (ages 5 – 16)
Date: Sunday 4 September from 3pm
Venue: 3G Pitches Cambourne
Activity: Four football activities (passing, goal keeping, dribbling, stop and change direction) lasting 10-15 minutes, with qualified coaches assisting the groups.
50 individual spaces available ages 5-16. Free to take part, medal presentation for all participants.

Cambridge Dons Goalball Youth Sessions (8 – 12)
Date: Saturday 13 August 2pm – 3pm
Venue: Cherry Hinton Leisure Centre Coleville Road, Cambridge CB1 9EJ
Activity: The free session is for young people aged 8-12 of any sight level and new or existing players. Cambridge Dons are fully inclusive and have people who are fully sighted, partially sighted and blind. Additional disabilities are welcome.

National Playday at Wisbech Adventure Playground
Date: Wednesday 3 August, 11am to 3pm
Activity: Staff and volunteers at Wisbech Adventure Playground will be hosting National Play Day to celebrate children’s play. There will be various activities such as a tombola, glitter and henna tattoos and a live Caribbean steel band.
There will also be information stalls including Wisbech Child and Family Centres, Cambridgeshire Libraries, Wisbech Fenland Museum and Market Place.

Summer with the museums in Cambridge, St Ives and Ely
Date: Monday 25 July – Wednesday 31 August 2022
Activities: From exploring the science of earthquakes, Treasure Island family days and creating glass animals, to Teddy Bears’ picnics, butterfly time travel and nature-themed art sessions – Summer with the Museums is back with a bang for the school holidays.

Six Weeks of ‘Summer in the Park’
Date: From Saturday 23 July
Venue: Nene Park, Peterborough
From Saturday 23 July look out for some exciting activities and events running for the six weeks of school summer holidays in the Park. There is something for everyone to enjoy, from holiday trails, guided walks and cycles to pond dipping and bug hunts, craft workshops and bushcraft sessions. Not to mention their daily water sports pay and play activities at Nene Outdoors and boat trips on Overton Lake.
