Celebrating our Volunteers

4th June 15

As part of National Carers Week, we celebrated the volunteers who give up their time to Carers Trust Cambridgeshire & Peterborough with Cream Tea on Thursday 4 June.

The Volunteers enjoyed a cream tea and were presented with a certificate in recognition of their dedication to the charity.

Richard Cross, Carers Ambassador, said:

“I would just like to say a huge ‘Thank You’ for today. Estelle you did a brilliant job hosting (sorry about the coffee), and Helen for organising it.
As ambassadors we enjoy working with you all, and each agree the best reward for us all, is to know we are helping to identify new carers as well as improve the lives of the known ones.
However that you go to this level to show you appreciation is fantastic and we are all really grateful.
Long may it continue.”

And Carol Adams who volunteers in the office said:

“Just a short note to say thank you very much for the Cream Tea yesterday afternoon.  It was lovely to feel that I was being spoilt and I enjoyed chatting to the other volunteers and members of staff there.

Please thank everyone involved for all their hard work in organising the event I am sure it was appreciated by all those present.”
