Feedback from Carers Information Day – 27th May 2015 and a chance to have Your say
Thank you to everyone that attended the Carers Information Day on 27 May at the Masonic Hall, Bateman Street, Cambridge.
The meeting marked the start of an extensive period of involving carers and other stakeholders in shaping the future of carers’ support in Cambridgeshire. Attendees were asked for their views on the current support and how it could be improved.
Your chance to have a say
We would appreciate your input in influencing carers’ services in Cambridgeshire by completing this online survey. The survey is an outcome from the Carers Information Day on 27th May and we would appreciate your responses to the suggestions made. We are aware not everyone was able to attend and we would very much like to broaden the opportunity for more carers to be involved.
This is an opportunity for carers, and others, to influence the on-going design and development of services. It also provides an opportunity to influence the development of the carers strategies currently planned by both Cambridgeshire County Council and Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.
We will be holding another event on 22nd September 2015 where there will be more opportunity to get involved and hear more about the developments planned in response to carers’ feedback. We will post more information on the Events section of our website once the details are finalised.
Initial feedback from 27th May Carers Information Day
In particular we heard how carers want everyone to be involved and for carers to get more help from the organisations who already know them.
