Meet the team

We look forward to getting to know you and your family! Here’s a bit about some of our friendly local team.

Lisa, Head of Care and Registered Manager Lisa
Lisa is our Head of Care and Registered Manager at Caring Together. A self-confessed TV addict, she tells us she can recite the Harry Potter films word for word (almost)!  Lisa loves her job and says, “supporting someone to live how they choose and to be happy can be just as rewarding as supporting someone to achieve something they were told they couldn’t.”
Joy Linnell, Homecare Advisor Joy
Joy is our Homecare Advisor. A passion for caring after others, brought Joy to Caring Together. Sharing the benefits of having support in place with a trusted provided, that is also a charity supporting carers is just amazing!! I love listening, and understanding what practical support looks like for that person and their family’s situation, and then working with team to make it a reality, it’s just the best. Joy is also a keen baker and gardener, has two grown up daughters, two cats and the odd frog in her garden!!
Janice, Senior Care Booking Manager Janice
Keen walker Janice looks after all our care bookings, making sure the right people are in the right place at the right time! She supports her 95-year-old father so knows first-hand the pressures and stresses of caring for a loved one. Her light relief is dachshund puppy Eric who causes chaos – but in a good way!
Laura, Care Team Manager Laura
Born in South Africa, Laura has settled happily in Cambridgeshire and now manages our team of Care Professionals across the Huntingdonshire area. She says that “Caring Together goes the extra mile, to not only help the client but the family and friends involved too.” She loves camping, baking and making scrapbooks in her spare time.
Michal, Care Professional Michal
Michal is devoted to his work as a Care Professional, having been part of our team for over 10 years. For Michal, it is our longer visits that really make a difference: “We are unique because we do not provide short visits. We have enough time during the visit not only to do all tasks needed but for a friendly chat and to be a companion.” Michal loves dogs and is pictured here with his sister’s puppy.
Billie, Care Professional Billie
Billie (Belinda) is another long-standing member of our team of Care Professionals, having been with us for 15 years. She enjoys meeting clients, getting to know them and helping them with everyday tasks. Her springer spaniel Rolo is 13 years old and her constant shadow. Her six grandchildren also keep her rather busy!

I’m interested, what do I do next?

Note on Care Quality Commission inspections

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) suspended their routine inspection programme in March 2020 in response to COVID-19 and do not intend to resume it for the immediate future. They have continued to use a mix of onsite and off-site monitoring to ensure the public have assurance as to the safety and quality of the care they receive.

As we emerge from the pandemic they are further developing their monitoring approach. In accordance with this approach they carried out a review of the data available to them about Caring Together on 6 July 2023.

Following this they have said the following to let people know about this outcome:

“We carried out a review of the data available to us about Caring Together on 06-07-2023. We have not found evidence that we need to carry out an inspection or reassess our rating at this stage.

“This could change at any time if we receive new information. We will continue to monitor data about this service.”
