If you live in Cambridgeshire and low mood or worry is preventing you from enjoying life and getting on with the things that you want and need to do, Care Network Cambridgeshire may be able to help. The wellbeing team can help you and understand how you are feeling and together you can identify appropriate options which will help you progress and improve your wellbeing; these can include self-help strategies and coping skills and advice about other opportunities. This may be delivered through one-to-one support on the phone, virtually, by email or in person.

In Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, they also offer Project Catalyst Wellbeing support:

  • Check and chat service – staff or volunteers can support you if you are experiencing isolation and loneliness and may benefit from a regular friendly phone call.
  • Trusted friend service – volunteers can help you to build up confidence to get out and about in your local community, for example by accompanying you on a walk, or to the shop, or along to a group or a service.

As their volunteer services are time limited (usually six to eight sessions) they can also advise you about other options you can access. To ensure the best use of resources they prioritise those who are not already receiving similar support elsewhere. All their services are free. If they are unable to offer appropriate support they will let you know about alternative options wherever possible.

Why not call the team on 0330 094 5750 to see how they might help.
