Care Quality Commission
Caring Together is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspects health and adult social care services in England to make sure that they provide safe, high-quality care. If a service needs to improve, CQC will take action to make sure this happens.
We are the leading local fully Care Quality Commission (CQC) compliant organisation providing homecare, respite and breaks specifically for family carers too.
See the inspector’s report following their latest Inspection.
In Cambridgeshire and Peterborough the CQC rating below applies.
In Norfolk the CQC rating below applies.
Excellence for Carers
Carers Trust has awarded our organisation their Excellence for Carers quality award.
It is awarded to charities for best practice in services, advice and information for unpaid carers. Carers Trust rigorously assess charities for their service, as well as the quality of its leadership, staff, internal processes, and engagement with key local partners and stakeholders. Charities achieving the award must demonstrate quality of service to unpaid carers across ten key areas including outcomes and impact, carer involvement, and information, advice and support.
The award will help to position our organisation in the best possible way in a highly competitive sector and help us to develop and succeed in our aims. It should also give carers even greater confidence in the quality of service they can expect from us.
Annual Survey
Each year we also send a Quality of Service Questionnaire to our clients. This is an opportunity for family carers and people with care needs to tell us what they think of the service we provide and how we can improve the service for the future to ensure we maintain our high standards.
Read some of the comments people have made.
Complaints
If you would like to make a complaint about anything provided by Caring Together Charity or a member of our staff or volunteer team, please read our compliments and complaints leaflet [65KB].
Please don’t be afraid that you may lose the service or that you will be thought of as a nuisance by complaining.
