Could you be one of our Christmas (card) elves?

13th August 24

We are looking for special people with a minimum of three hours a week to donate to our charity, from 19 September to 5 December (12 weeks).

We rely on volunteers to help us run our Christmas card operation each year – working in our St Ives office on Thursdays. Our ‘elves’ process the orders we receive, making sure each customer receives the packs of cards they have ordered on time.

What our elves do:

  1. Select the packs each person has ordered.
  2. Put these in an envelope with a thank you letter.
  3. Add the correct address.
  4. Seal the pack and prepare it for posting.
  5. Update our computer records – that the cards have been sent.

Our charity Christmas cards spread the word about our support for unpaid carers and raise vital funds for our work. So, you will be doing a lot of good in the run up to this festive season if you join us!

Requirements:

To join us as a volunteer on Thursdays (Sep-Dec) in the St Ives Office (Parsons Green, PE27 2AA. Near Morrisons)

Either:

  • 10am-1pm, or
  • 1.30pm-4.30pm, or
  • 10am-4.30pm.

If you can join for most but not all of the Thursdays, no problem!

I hear jingle bells! How can I sign up or find out more?

Just email [email protected] or call Jane on 07843 327485.
