If you are looking after someone, you and they may find the NHS App a useful resource. You can:

How the NHS App can help you

Once your have registered and proved who you are, the app can help you to:

  • order repeat prescriptions and choose a pharmacy from where you want to collect them
  • book and manage your medical appointments
  • see you GP health record (your GP may also give you access to your detailed medical record so you can see information like your test results)
  • book and manage your COVID-19 vaccinations
  • use NHS 111 online to answer questions and get instant advice or medical help near you

Without proving who you are, the NHS App can help you to search trusted NHS information and advice on conditions and treatments, and to find NHS services near to you.

Other services

Depending on your GP surgery or hospital, you may be able to use the NHS App to contact your GP, manage health services on behalf of the person you care for, manage your appointments, and manage your care plan.
