The BBC are this year again holding their Make a Difference awards. If you know of a carer who ‘improves the life of an individual or group of people through their helpfulness, compassion and support’ you can nominate them for the Carer Award.
The awards are held in each of the BBC radio station areas, including both Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
The Make a Difference Awards are your chance to say thank you and recognise those who love to make life better for others.
Nominations will close on Sunday 10 March 2024 at 11:00pm, with winners chosen by a panel of judges. The Make a Difference Award ceremonies are taking place across England from September 2024.

There is also a category for volunteers, and if you know of someone who supports unpaid carers in a voluntary role you may want to nominate them for the Volunteer Award.
