Cambridgeshire Minibus Brokerage Scheme (CaMBS) is a vehicle-sharing scheme that enables community groups, clubs and not-for-profit organisations to use accessible and affordable minibuses. CaMBS has over 50 minibuses available for hire and nearly all are wheelchair accessible. The scheme can supply drivers or groups can (subject to training) use their own drivers.
Who can use CaMBS?
All community groups, clubs or organisations wishing to use this service must be on a not-for-profit basis to comply with their vehicle licensing. Individuals with a disability, for example a wheelchair user (or their families), may be able to hire an available vehicle subject to meeting the operator’s eligibility criteria.
