Bild, the organisation that seeks to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities – including people who also have autism, mental health conditions or dementia, are offering you FREE online training in positive behaviour support.
Bild recognises that carers are integral to ensuring that the people they care for are supported to live their best life. They want to ensure carers have access to positive and accessible learning.
The online course is a BTEC Level 4 Certificate in Positive Behaviour Support and the free spaces for family carers have been funded by the NHS Covid Recovery Learning Disability and Autism Fund.
As part of a drive to ensure family carers have access to positive and accessible learning, the online course content has flexible access. You will also be supported by a dedicated tutor and there are small online group tutorials. A parent carer said:
“This course provided me with much needed deeper knowledge…using excellent learning material and resources. It will give me better chance to support my child in long term and improve the quality of her life.”
