Whether it is you or the person you look after who is registered with a Cambridge City PCN surgery, you can now sign up to find out about extra support available especially for you. (The surgeries covered are York Street Medical Practice, Nuffield Road Medical Centre, Bottisham Medical Practice, East Barnwell Health Centre and Arbury Road Surgery.)
This support that is being offered will be delivered in partnership with Caring Together, a leading charity supporting carers of all ages across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Norfolk. It is important to Caring Together and Cambridge City PCN that we provide you with the support and advice you need to help you in your caring role.
Over the coming months a new range of services will be available to you, including a welfare day where you will be able to find out more about support available to carers, and an opportunity to connect with other local people who have caring responsibilities.
This is being made available thanks to funding from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG. It means Caring Together and Cambridge City PCN are also working together to look at challenge’s people looking after a family member or friend face and how we can work together to improve the lives of carers.
